Our 2016-17 season found us in Neverland with the fall performance of the STEAMpunk themed Peter Pan and in the mind of a middle schooler with the spring comedy performance of BOX. Cast members from 6, 7 and 8th grades performed for the student body as well as our rising 5th graders from our feeder schools. We dedicated our performances to the WHS Chap Players and took up donations for their trip "across the pond" to perform at the acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. Once a Wildcat Always a Wildcat!
Our Aladdin, jr. cast will raised over $400 on our Nov. 17th performance for the Nobelity Project's 1000 Books for Hope in honor of our sister school The Mahiga Hope School in Mahiga, Kenya. The Nobelity Project is currently working with 20 partner schools in rural Kenya and and a Bookmobile that is serving 20 schools on Roatan Island, Honduras. Click here for more in formation about the Nobelity Project, 1000 Books for Hope and the award winning documentary that started it all, Building Hope. http://www.nobelity.org/nobelity-in-schools/
